Description of the situation: Consolata was born on 14th June 2000, she has 4 siblings: Agnes, Juliana, Maurine and Alexandra.They stay with their parents in own 3-roomed semi permanent family house in the village. They use firewood for cooking, lanten lamp for lighting and get water from the river. The parents who are both peasant farmers earn an average of 6000 KES and they have 10 dependants living in their house, hence they are not in a position to cater for all their basic needs. The girl is in good health condition and she is studying well. From finall exams atprimary school she gets A, B. B, B+, B+. She likes visiting the friends and doing practicals in the lab at school. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. In 2018 she should attend the 3rd class of high school. The adoption is for 4,800 CZK/200 Eur per term but the basic support 2,400 CZK/100 Eur per term is also possible (after the verification).

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
