Therefore Tobias lives in Orhanage from 2022. In 2023 he should attend the 1st year of our Island of Hope Humanist Secondary school. He likes Math and English. He would become an engineer. Expenses at secondary school are unfortunately higher and therefore he needs support of 5.600 CZK/ 220 EUR per school term (16.800 CZK/ 660 EUR per year).

She lives with both parents Joseph okelo ondewe born 1964, her mother consolata Okelo Mulanya born 1964 too, with her 4 elder siblings Nichodemus Ochieng at home,Alloys Ngesa at home,Anna Atieno married and Josphine Akinyi Okelo she is also in the distance adoption program 41469. Her father is a car washer and sometimes he does transport with his bicycle. Her mother is a vegetable vendor and both are the source income of the family of 2 dependants living in a mud house in a single room which is rented at 900khs per month. They use firewood for cooking, Kerosene lamp for light and get water from the bore hole. They all survive on an average income of 6,000 khs monthly. Dolphine is wise and healthy and she likes story books and playing.

They stay in a 2 roomed mudhouse belonging to the family, they use firewood for cooking, lanten lamp for lighting and get water from the river. Charles is healthy. To sponsor him, we need 5600CZK/220 EUR per school term. In 2023 he started 2nd year of secondary school but unfortunately lost his sponsor.

He also has a sister Joria (born 2002) but she lives by relatives.The mother is single and has a mental condition that sometimes hinders her from working so as to provide for the family. They cook using charcoal and also use keresone lamp for lighting. They take water from the tap. In 2023 he started 2nd year of secondary school but lost his sponsor. He needs support of 5600 Kč/220 Eur per term. The sponsorship will be of great help to the family. Jumaa likes playing football with his friends and in school he likes Mathematics.

Reagan has six older siblings: Yickliffe, Winnnie, Edwin, Lydia, Brain and Emmanuel. They live in a mud house that has four rooms and belongs to them.The father works as a driver in the village and his income is not constant since he is not permanently employed and changes employers each time depend on how many days the job is going to last. This makes the income unpretedctable and is never constant. The mother who suppliments sells fish and each day depending on how much she buys and is able to sell, determines what she is able to bring home. They struggle a lot to keep the children in school and to meet other basic needs of the family. In 2018, he will be in class 6 at primary school. The adoption is for 2,400 Czk/100 Eur per term.

William was born in 2004 and has five siblings. The oldest being Michael (2003), Elijah (2006), Marry (2008), Magret (2015) and Wilson (2013). Their parents split up. Wilson, Marry and Margrey stay with mother. Elijah was taken in by their aunt. Michael and William decided to stay with their father and help him because he suffers from sickling and cannot work. Due to this they depend on the help of their neighbours to survive. When they don’t get the help boys go out to fish to find food. The family of three live in a mud house that has two rooms. They use firewood for cooking and receive water from the lake nearby. For lighting they use solar powered lights. This home is falling apart due to the condition it is in. Aside from all the problems at home, William enjoys going to school. His favourite subjects are science, english and mathematics. He hopes to become a pilot one day. Some of his hobbies include playing football and reading. From May 2022 William was in the orphanage and in 2024 he should join Form 2 at Island of Hope Humanist Secondary school. Unfortunately he is not having an adoptive parent. He needs support of 5.600 CZK/ 220 EUR per school term (16.800 CZK/ 660 EUR per year). Will you help him to get a good education?

She is the bread winner of the family – she was left a small piece of land to take care of the child. Sometimes they have to borrow food from neighbours and other good people. They live in rental wooden house, use firewood for cooking, parrafine lamp for lighting and water get from river. Jeremia is healthy boy. In 2023 He attends third grade of high school. The mother sends money to the grandmother to assist with the basic needs of the family of Mishel and other siblings. The family live in a mud house, they use firewood for cooking, kerosene lamp for lighting and fetch water form the lake. Mishel is of good health. In 2022 she lost her adoptive parent, therefore we are looking for a new one in order to support her in her studies at secondary school. In 2023 she is in 3rd year. Her adoption costs 220 EUR/ 5.600 CZK per term.

Pascal has a problem with his ears, he takes a medication. The boy lost his adoptive parents and he needs to pay 2 additional school fees (4,800 CZK) to finish his studies on Matera Mixed Secondary School.

Their father died and therefore there is just their mother taking care on the family. She does fishing, but it is unfortunately not enough to provide the family all basic needs and school fees as well. Net family income is about 5.000 KES (50 EUR) per month. The family lives in one roomed mud house that is rented, they get water from the lake, use charcoal for cooking and solar for lighting. Lucy is anemic patient. She likes netball. In school she really enjoys Biology and Business studies and when she finishes her studies she would like to be a nurse. In 2023 she was in third grade at our Island of Hope Humanist Secondary school. At the moment she is pregnant but after the baby is born she would like to continue with her studies. Unfortunately she lost her sponsor. Expenses in high school are unfortunately higher than in primary school and therefore her adoption costs 5.600 CZK/ 220 EUR per school term (16.800 CZK/ 660 EUR per year). In 2023 he started 3rd year of high school Island of Hope Humanist Mixed Boarding School but at the moment he lost hissponsor. The fee enabeling him to continue attending the high school is 5600Kč/220 EUR per term.

Rael Akinyi

Rael Akinyi is the only child in his family. Both her parents are not mentally stable and are both unemployed. They both depend on wellwishers to support the family. Rael goes to school and also lives at the Island of Hope orphanage center in Rusing Island, that is why she needs a higher amount 5 600Kč/220EUR for one school period that include the cost of accommodation, food and governess in an orphanage. During school holidays, she remains at the house of one of the teacher. Rael does not have any known health problem.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.

You can also provide the adoptive children by health insurance, that covers any medical treatment the child needs during 1 year.
