Description of the situation:
Jeremy lives only with his mother. His mother has only some casual jobs e.g. clothes washing. She has only around 2.500 KES/ 25 EUR per month. They live in a one semi –permanent (iron sheet, timber) room that is rented. They use stove for cooking, electricity for lighting and they get water from a tap. In 2020 Jeremy is already in class 3 at Primary School. Jeremy is heathy and he is doing well. Jeremy enjoys playing football and cycling. He goes to church every Sunday. Once he completes his studies he would like to be an engineer. The most popular subjects are mathematics, science, English and Swahili, he also loves to draw. It is hard to meet basic family needs and pay school fees, because of the small incomes. The boy lost his sponsor recently, that is why we decided to put him back into our program that he does not have to leave the school. He needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.
