Description of the situation:
Ezekiel is from the family of five children. He has brother Kelvin (2006) and sisters Margret (2008), Faith (2010) and Esther (2013). Both parents do casual jobs in people´s farm and they also fetch firewood for sale. Family income is only around 1.000 KES/ 10 EUR per month. They live in a one room mud house which belongs to them. They use firewood for cooking, kerosene lamp for lighting and they get water from the borehole. Ezekiel is healthy and he is doing well. Due to the little income, it is hard to meet all basic family needs and paying school fees for all kids is a really big problem. That is why we decided to put him into our programme and now he goes to primary school.
