Description of the situation:
Celestine comes from a polygamous family where her mother is the last wife of the father. In their house, she is the last born amongst five children (Simon born 2000, Synancy born 2003, Lidky born 2008 and Darline born 2012). In the other house there are also seven children. The father is a security guard whose earning is little and cannot provide the family with the basic needs in life: their month income is 7,000 KES (about 70 Eur). The family is doing well at present. The family lives in three rooms in the mud house which belongs them. They take water from the lake and cook on fire (using charcoal). They use koresene lamp or little solar panel for lighting. Celestine likes playing football. She is doing well healthwise at the moment. From 2023, the girl attends a primary school class at our community center Island of Hope Humanist School.
