Description of the situation:
Shadrack is the seventh born in the family of eight children (siblings Lucy born 2003, Victor born 2004, Erick born 2006, Churchil and Hilary born 2008, Gordon born 2011 and Millicent born 2016). The father does fishing while the mother buy and sells fish. The father is a drunkard and he doesn’t take care of the family and the mother is the one who struggles to feed and also pay school fees to children but the income she gets is very little (2,360 KES per month – it’s about 23,6 Eur). The family lives in rental mud house in one room. They take water from the lake and cook on fire (using charcoal). They use koresene lamp for lighting. The boy is doing well healthwise at the moment. He likes singing and playing foorball. He will start attending the nursery school in our school Island of Hope Humanist School since January 2019. The adoption is for 2,400 Czk/100 Eur per term.
