Description of the situation: Marion is the last born in the family of seven children at the moment, the father who was the only family breadwinner died leaving the mother who does fishing to feed and also take the children to school. However much she is trying, she still cannot manage because the income she gets is very little to feed, take children to school and also provide other basic needs in life to the family. Family´s average is 2,360 KES per month – about 23 EUR. The family (which has 10 members altogether) lives in rental 1-roomed mud house. They get water from the lake, uses firewood or charcoal for cooking and kerosene lamp for lighting. Marion is doing health wise well at the moment. In 2019, Ronaldo will be in -2nd class (baby class) in nursery school Island of Hope Humanists School. Marion likes playing football and swimming. Adoption of this child is for 2,400 CZK/100 Eur per term.
