Description of the situation:
Ginell is the first born in the family of four children (siblings Bravin born 2014, Present born 2016 and Chelsin born 2018). The father who is the only family breadwinner does fishing while the mother is a house wife. The income the family gets is little to feed and also pay school fees to the children (2,100 KES – about 21 EUR). The family (which has 6 members altogether) lives in their own 2-roomed mud house. They get water from the bore hole, uses firewood for cooking and kerosene lamp for lighting. Ginell is doing health wise well at the moment. In 2019 he will be in first class in primary school. Ginell likes mathematics, reading, social studies C.R.E. He would like to be a teacher. He also likes football and moulding. He is in fifth class in our community centre Island of Hope in the year 2023. Adoption of this child costs 16,800 CZK/660 EUR per year (the amount covers school fees, accommodation, food and governess in an orphanage as well).
