Description of the situation:
Grace lives with her parents, sister Sharon and brother James. Both parents work as a casual worker. Family has around 6.800 KES/68 EUR per month. The income of family gets little to feed and also pay school fees to the children and also to provide other basic needs in life to the family. They live in a one room semi – permanent house (iron sheet and timber) which is rented. They use firewood for cooking, kerosene lamp for lighting and they get water from the river. Grace is healthy. She likes playing hide and seek game with friend at school. She loves reading stories and likes language subject in school. In 2019 she is already in class 2 at Primary School. Due to the little income that family has, it is hard to meet basic family needs and paying school fees have become a big problem. That is why we decided to put her into our program that she does not have to leave the school. Grace needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.
