Description of the situation:
Peterlis lives with his parents and brothers Steven 2007) and David (2012). The mother is selling fish and father is fisherman. Family has only around 2,100 KES/21 EUR per month. The family lives in two room mud house which belongs to them. They use firewood for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the lake. Peterlis is healthy boy. He likes playing football. I Due to the little income that is family earning, it is hard to meet basic family needs and paying school fees has become a big problem. That is why we decided to put him into our program, as a result, he now attends primary school on the Island of Hope.
