Description of the situation:
Both the parents died when Fredrick was still very young. The children were left with no one to care for and because of this, they were divided amongst their relatives. Fredrick was taken by his brother who only does farming. The income the brother gets is meager to provide the basic needs in life to the family. They have around 5,000 KSH/50 EUR per month. The family lives in a four room mud house which belongs to the family. They use firewood for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the stream. Frederic likes football and volleyball. He has occasional malaria. Due to family situation he joined the orphanage in our community center Island of Hope in January 2020. In 2024 he should continue at Island of Hope Humanist Mixed Boarding School. Adoption of this child costs 16,800 CZK/ 660 EUR per year (the amount covers school fees, accommodation, food and governess as well).
