Description of the situation:
Lucky Wickliffe is the last born in the family of four children (Wendy, 14 y.o., Nelly 13 y.o. and Innocent 9 y.o.), the father is a fisherman while the mother is a housewife. The income the family gets is little to provide the basic needs in life to the children (3200 ksh per month – about 32 EUR). The family lives in a three roomed mud house which belongs to the family. There are six dependents in the family. They cook on wood or charcoal and use water from the lake, light by a kerosene lamp or a light bulb powered by a solar panel.The family is doing well healthwise except Innocent who is suffering from sickle cell anemia. Lucky is doing well at the moment, he likes playing with toys. Lucky also likes soccer. In 2021 he is attending kindergarten. Adoption of this child costs 7.200 CZK/300 EUR per year.
