Description of the situation:
Perez is the last born in the family of two at the moment, she was born in 2017 and her sister Veronica was born in 2016. Their father does fishing while the mother is a housewife. Apart from Perez and the family, the father also takes care of his mother who is a widow. Net family income is about 6.000 Ksh (60 EUR) and therefore it is still difficult for the family to cover all basic needs and pay for school. The family lives in a three roomed mud house, they use candles and chargeable light for lighting, get water from the lake and use charcoal or firewood for cooking. Perez is doing well healthwise at the moment. She really likes to play football and to jump over rope, it is her favourite game. Due to the little income that the family earns it is hard to meet basic needs and also to pay school fees. That is why we decided to put Perez into our program so that she can go to kindergarten. She needs support of 2.400 CZK/ 100 EUR per school term.
