Description of the situation:
Marry Ann was born in 2018 and is the youngest of three. She has an older sister Violet (2013) and brother Joseph (2015). Their father is a fisherman, and their mother sells fish for a living. Marry Ann and her family live in a mud house that has three rooms. For cooking they use firewood and charcoal and get their water from the lake. While for lighting they use solar powered lights or kerosene lamps. The family’s net income is 3,200 KSH (32 EUR). Healthwise, the family is doing well, except their mother who occasionally has abdominal pain. Some of Marry Ann’s hobbies include singing and dancing, now she goes (thanks to adoption) to kindergarten on the Island of Hope.
