Talia was born in 2018 and is the youngest of four. She has two sisters, Sheryll (2008) and Savy (2018), and a brother Dickens (2010). Their father is a fisherman, and her mother is a housewife. The family’s net income is 6,300 KSH (63 EUR) per month. This family of six live in a permanent house with two rooms. Along with taking care of the children, Talia’s father takes care of his widowed mother and siblings. In their home, they use firewood and charcoal for cooking, and get their water from the lake nearby. For lighting they have electricity. Some of Talia’s hobbies include skipping and playing football. Talia hopes to be joining the Island of Hope’s playing group in the 2023 school year. Her adoption costs are 2.400 CZK/ 100 EUR per school term (7.200 CZK/ 300 EUR per year).
