Description of the situation:
Joshuar was born in 2018 and is the youngest of two, his brother is Abraham (2017). Their father is a fishman but uses other people’s net and their mother sells vegetables to support the family. Even with both of their jobs combined they make very little to feed and pay for their children’s school fees. This family of four lives in a mud house that has two rooms. They use fire and charcoal for cooking and get their water from the lake nearby. For lighting they use solar lighting and kerosene lamps. The family’s net income is 3,000 KSH (30 EUR). Healthwise, the family is doing well except Joshua who has some eye issues. Some of Joshua’s hobbies include drawing and playing football. In 2023 Joshua join kindergarten in the Island of Hope. His adoption costs are 2.400 CZK/ 100 EUR per school term.
