Mary was born in 2019 and has an older sister, Velma (2017). Her father is a moto taxi driver, and their mother sells fish to provide for the family. The family’s net income is 2,000 KSH (20 EUR) per month. They use firewood for cooking and receive their water from the lake. For lighting they use candles or solar powered light. Mary really loves teddy bears and enjoys playing with balls. Mary should join kindergarten in the Island of Hope project in 2022. Her adoption costs are 2.400 CZK/ 100 EUR per school term (7.200 CZK/ 300 EUR per year). Will you help Mary’s family send her to school to get an education she deserves?
