Description of the situation: Ruth comes from a polygamause family and the mother is the first wife,due to the burden of the large family they parents work hard to ensure that atleats most of the basic needs are met.the boy works hard in school and likes palying football,singing in sunday school and resiting poems,she helps in house chores such as fetching firewood and water from the lake,they use keroene lamp.The family live in a mudhoues in a house that belongs to them,9 dependants in a 3 roomed house.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. The basic sponsoring fee amounts to 7200 CZK (300 EUR) a year.
