Description of the situation: Neema is last born in the family of five children. She has sisters Cecilia (1989), who is already married, and Silvya (1993) and brothers Tomas (1990) and Elkado (1996), who is attending college. The mother is cattle keeper and their situation worsened when their father passes away. Their income is only around 7.000 KES/ 70 EUR per month. The family lives three room semi – permanet house (iron sheet, timber) which belongs to them. They use kerosene stove for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the borehole. Neema is healthy and she is doing well. She likes to cook and taking care of cows. In 2019 she starts to attend Nursery School. For the family it is difficult to pay all school fees. That is why we decided to put her into our program that she could get the opportunity to go regularly to the school. Neema needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
