Description of the situation: Vivian is from the family of 5 children. She has sisters Diana (2000), Faith (2003), Regina (2006) and brother Melton (2009). Whole family takes care of their cattle. Family income is around 4.000 KES/ 40 EUR per month. They live in tree room semi – permanent house (from iron sheet and timber) which belongs to them. They use kerosene stove for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the borehole. Vivian is healthy and she is doing well. She likes to look after cattle and playing with other kids. In 2019 she is already in class 2 at the Primary School. Due to the little income that is family earning, it is hard to meet basic family needs and paying school fees has become a big problem. That is why we decided to put her into our program that she does not have to leave the school. Vivian needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. The basic sponsoring fee amounts to 7200 CZK (300 EUR) a year.

Section of detailed information provides an overview of how this projects works. In case you have already chosen a child from our database, you can also find here all the steps to be taken in order to adopt a child remotely.

You can also provide the adoptive children by health insurance, that covers any medical treatment the child needs during 1 year.
