Description of the situation: Lyon has younger sister Liana (2015). His father is driver and also coordinator in Centrum Narovinu and his mother is a volunteer as a social worker with. Family has around 15.000 KES/150 EUR per month. The income of family gets little to pay school fees regularly. They are living in a two roomed house paying 9,000 KSH per month for rent. Their house has electricity and they get water from the tap. They use gas stove for cooking. Lyon loves playing football and he is a healthy boy. In 2019 he is already in class 3 at Primary School. Due to many challenges in life and strains in their daily income it worries them as a family for both children not to have good education and they really wished for support towards their kids’education. The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
