Description of the situation: Gift is from the family of six children. He has brothers Robert (2000), Collins (2006) and Neville (2009) and sisters Cynthia (2002) and Shirleen (2006). Family has small portion of land so both parents are working on it. Family has only around 2 .800 KES/28 EUR per month. The income of family gets little to feed and also pay school fees to the children and also to provide other basic needs in life to the family. The family lives in two roomed mud house which belongs to them. They use firewood for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the spring. Gift is healthy boy and loves swimming in the river with his friends and in school his favourite subject is social studies. In 2019 he is already in class 2 at Nursery School. Boy needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
