Description of the situation: Fidel comes from the polygamous family of two wives. His mother is second wife. He has sister Hellen (2004) and brother Rean (2002). The mother is housewife and father is fisherman. Family has only around 2,000 KES/20 EUR per month. The family lives in two room mud house which belongs to them. They use firewood for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the lake. Fidel is healthy boy. He likes playing football and singing. In 2020 he should start to attend kindergarten. Due to the little income that is family earning, it is hard to meet basic family needs and paying school fees has become a big problem. That is why we decided to put him into our program that he could go to school. Fidel needs support of 2,400 CZK/100 EUR per term.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
