Description of the situation: Junior is the last born in the family, he is 4 years old and he has two siblings, the brother Kennedy and the sister named Maxcimilla. His father does fishing on other people's net while the mother is a fishmonger. The father has occasional health issues with chest pain and therefore the income that the family gets is very little to provide the basic needs in life, net family income is about 3250 ksh/ a month (32 euro). The family lives in a single roomed mud/rental house, they get water from the lake, use firewood/charcoal for cooking and solar for lighting. Junior really likes running and moulding, but he also likes sports like athletics. He is healthy, in 2021 he is attending kindergarten. Adoption of Junior costs 7.200 CZK/ 300 EUR per year.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
