His father rides motorcycles for pay but because the government restricted the movement of people from place to place, the business really got low, making family income to be very little. Apart from Daniel and the mother (housewife), they also live/stay with four other children who are semi orphans. The entire family depends on this little income (3,000 ksh per month – about 30 EUR). The family (which has 7 members all together) lives in a rented one room mud house. They cook on wood or charcoal and use water from the lake, for lighting they use kerosene lamp. Daniel is doing well at the present. He likes to play football. In 2021 he started isattending kindergarten. Adoption of this child costs 7.200 CZK/ 300 EUR per year.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
