Description of the situation: Kingdavid comes from a polygamous family where his mother is the second wife of the father. Kingdavid’s mother abandoned him and his brother Cliff Melvin (born 2010) and ran away from home after the husband’s death. Kingdavid and the brother were therefore taken by the cowife to the mother who is old and sickling and also has her own children to provide for. The cowife cannot manage however much she is trying. They live in a six-rooms mud house that belongs to family. The use firewood/charcoal for cooking, kerosene/solar lamp for lighting and they get water from the river. Kingdavid likes playing football and singing. In school he likes Mathematics, English and Drawing. He would like to be an engineer after school. Due to a very bad conditions at home she should join an orphanage at Island of Hope and starts class 2 here from January 2025. He needs support with an amount of 16.800 CZK/660 EUR per year (1400 CZK/55 EUR per month).
