Description of the situation: Chris Wilson is the third born in the family of three children. His older siblings are Zilpa Odoyo (born 2014) and Gion Davny Odoyo (2019) The parents separated and the children remained with the father who only sells herbs for his income. The father could not provide the basic needs for the children and because of this Wilson was taken by the aunt who is a widow and has her own children to feed. She is a fish monger. They live in a one-room mud house which is rental. They use firewood for cooking, kerosene/solar for lighting and get water from a lake. But the aunt began to deny Wilson food and beat him. So we took the boy into our orphanage. Wilson likes football and when he gets a chance, he likes to watch cartoons in TV. In January 2025 he joined a kindergarten at Island of Hope Humanist School and in 2026 he was admitted to orphanage. He needs a support with an amount of 1500 CZK/62,50 EUR/month (18 000 CZK/750 EUR/year).

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3 500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 8,400 (€ 360) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 18,000 (€ 750). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.

You can also provide the adoptive children by health insurance, that covers any medical treatment the child needs during 1 year.
