Description of the situation: Jayden is the first born in the family of two children, His brother is called Waseley Ansel (born 2023). Mother is a single parent and she is still a student. The children now lives with the grandmother who is a widow and also has her own children to feed and pay for their school fees. The income the grandmother gets from her fish monger business is a little. They live in a three-roomed mud house which belongs to family. They get water from the lake, uses firewood/charcoal for cooking and kerosene/solar for lighting. Jayden likes playing with toys and also he likes to play football. In January 2025 he should join a kindergarten at Island of Hope Humanist School. He needs a support with an amount of 7200 CZK/300 EUR per year (600 CZK/25 EUR per month).

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
