Description of the situation: Vincent has one older brother Tobias Otieno (born 2005). The father who was the sole breadwinner in the family just hanged himself. Now the children are under the care of their mother who is sickling and does nothing for income. The mother has eye problem which does not allow her see properly. They live in a three roomed Mud house that belongs to family. They use Firewood for cooking, Solar for lighting, they get water from a Lake. Vincent likes playing football. In school he likes Biology and Physics, he would like to be a teacher after school. In 2025 she is in form 2 at Island of Hope Humanist Mixed Boarding School and she needs support with an amount of 16.800 CZK/660 EUR per year (1400 CZK/55 EUR per month).

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3 500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 8,400 (€ 360) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 18,000 (€ 750). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.

You can also provide the adoptive children by health insurance, that covers any medical treatment the child needs during 1 year.
