Description of the situation: Necy is the first born in the family of three children. Her siblings are Calvins Junior Ouma (born 2014),David Marage (2017). Both the parents died leaving them with their grandmother who is old, sickling and only do peasant farming to feed and provide for the family. The income the grandmother is getting from her farming is little to provide the basic needs in life to the family. This sometimes makes Necy to be sent away from school because of fees and other requirements. They live in a one roomed mud house which belongs to the family. They use firewood/charcoal for cooking, kerosene/solar for lighting and they get water from river. Necy likes reading story books, playing netball and making friends. In school she likes Sciences and Mathematics. She would like to be a nurse after school. Due to bad family situation she was admited to orphanage in Community center Island of Hope and in 2026 she should start attending class 8 at primary school sland of Hope Humanist School. She needs support of 1500 CZK/62,50 EUR/ month (18.000 CZK/750 EUR/year).

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3 500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 8,400 (€ 360) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 18,000 (€ 750). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.

You can also provide the adoptive children by health insurance, that covers any medical treatment the child needs during 1 year.
