The school on Island of Hope is attended by over 500 children a day. Hence a school desk with two chairs along with the storage space are a welcoming donation to support the upgrade and expansion of the school.

There is a need for mattresses for the beds in the orphanage where currently 80 orphans live and for the kindergarden terrace where the toddlers are taking their afternoon naps. The donation of the mattress will support healthy and peaceful children’s sleep.

The school on Island of Hope is attended by over 500 children a day. Therefore, local libary has many readers but unfortunately not many books. Every new book will make many children very happy.

To improve food diet quality for orphans and support the projects objective of permanent sustainability, the farm increased the breeding of hens for eggs. The eggs are used for the childrens favourite breakfast and the surplus from the sales is used for the purchase of other necessary ingredients.

Quality food diet for orphans, who found new home on Island of hope, is very important. Even though there is a farm which is growing its own vegetables, corn, beans and is increasing the breeding of hens and fish, unfortunately  its own production is stil not enough to feed all children.

The mosquito net is basic prevention against the malaria, which unfortunately is a big challenge in the area of Victoria’s lake. Therefore, all children in the orphanage sleep under the mosquito net and it is ensured that all nets are properly impregnated, they are no holes and they are in order to fufill their function.
