Changes in the Long-Distance Adoption Program: a slight increase in school fees from January 1, 2026

The Long-Distance Adoption Program has been running since 2002 and has helped thousands of children in Kenya gain access to education and thereby achieve better living conditions. However, over more than twenty years, the economic situation has changed significantly — especially in Kenya, where prices of food, transport, energy, and school-related expenses have risen sharply. The basic contribution from donors has remained the same throughout this time, but it is no longer sufficient to cover everything the children need. In addition to tuition fees, it is now necessary to provide for school supplies, uniforms, and lunches, which have become an important part of the support.

Therefore, as of January 1, 2026, we have decided to slightly increase the school fees to ensure that our assistance can continue in a sustainable and responsible way. The basic annual contribution of 7,200 CZK / 300 EUR will increase to 8,400 CZK / 360 EUR, and the annual contribution for children in orphanages, as well as those in secondary schools and universities, will rise from 16,800 CZK / 660 EUR to 18,000 CZK / 750 EUR per year.

In the video, Mr. Ken Okongo, Director of the Center Narovinu in Kenya, talks about the situation in Kenya and sends his heartfelt thanks to everyone for supporting the children.

Thank you for helping us change their lives.
