Brian arrived in the Czech Republic at the invitation of his adoptive parents – the Grammar School of Třeboň. Thanks to their support, he completed both primary and secondary school at the Island of Hope on Rusinga Island in Kenya and is now studying at a medical university in Nairobi. The Centre Narovinu’s program Adoption of African Children – Long-distance Support Project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 5,000 children receive an education.
He was welcomed at the airport by Dana Feminová and Simona Heřtusová from the Centre Narovinu, and on behalf of the entire group of adoptive parents from the Grammar School of Třeboň, Lenka Kopečková.
You are invited to a special meeting on Friday, June 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the café Kafe nůžky papír (Na Zámecké 597/11, Prague 4 – Nusle). You can look forward to a screening, storytelling, and Fair Trade gifts with a story, the purchase of which will help support the education of more children from the Island of Hope on Rusinga Island.

Wednesday, June 10 – visit to the clinic of a doctor in Roztoky near Prague, who, during his studies, completed an internship at our Island of Hope clinic on Rusinga Island.

Thursday, June 11 – meeting at the primary school Citadela in Kojetice near Prague, which supports several children in Kenya in their education.
