Description of the situation:
David was born on 9th April 2008 and he is a partial orphan. His father died in 2006. He lives with his mother and three siblings: Sarah (born in 2000), Esther (2002) and Salome (2003). The mother Jenipher Atieno is the only breadwinner and she works as a peasant farmer. Their average monthly income is 7,000 KES. They are five members living in own three-room grass thatched house. They use firewood for cooking, kerosene for lighting and get water from the dam. David is healthy.
