The Narovinu Centre will be there from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with gifts with a story from the Fair Trade Shop, whose purchase supports the education of children from the Island of Hope on Rusinga Island, Kenya.

Centrum Narovinu will offer gifts with a story from the Fair Trade Shop, a photo exhibition, and workshops during the weekends 25–26 July and 1–2 August.

Brian is coming to the Czech Republic at the invitation of his adoptive parents – the Grammar School of Třeboň. Thanks to their support, he completed both primary and secondary school at the Island of Hope and is now studying at a medical university in Nairobi.

A family festival for Africa Day. You can look forward to music, dance, workshops for the whole family, an African market, stories, fashion, and inspiring topics. Free entry.

On the weekend of March 7, the 22nd edition of the Creative Africa festival begins. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to become acquainted with the work of contemporary African and Caribbean authors.

We look forward to welcoming you to our stand with the Fair Trade Shop and volunteers from the Ostrava region, who will provide information about our projects and share their experiences from trips to Kenya and helping at Island of Hope.

A talk and slide show about visiting their adopted son, life on Rusinga Island, the last living white rhinos, Jane Goodall’s chimpanzees, the Joy Adamson Centre, and more.

Promítání a povídání Simony Heřtusové nejen o její poslední cestě do Afriky.

Měsíc v sirotčinci, víkend na safari, týden na pláži a jeden den ve slumu. Začínáme v 19:00 v Expediční klubovně. Večerem vás provede Pavla Nazarská.

Součástí programu bude i fair trade obchůdek, ve kterém si můžete v hotovosti zakoupit ručně vyráběné produkty z Keni, čímž přímo podpoříte místní řemeslníky a komunitu.
