Description of the situation:
Molly was born in 2008 as the last born in the family of two children (older sister Anyango was born in 2006). Both the parents died and after their death the children were divided amongst their relatives. Molly was taken by her old aunt while Anyango was taken by another aunt. Molly’s aunt sells vegetables and her average monthly income is 1500 KES (13 EUR). Family lives in two room mud house. They use kerosene for lighting, firewood for cooking and water take from lake. Molly is health.
Due to the family situation the child was chosen for placement in the orphanage "Island of Hope" on Rusinga Island, where this child should find new home and start going to school as soon as possible. In 2020 the girl attended class 7 in primary school. Adoption of this child is increased by the amount of 5.600 CZK/220 EUR per one term, in addition to covering the cost of the study in this amount is included the cost of accommodation, food and governess in an orphanage as well.
