Ezekiel is the last born in the house of two children, the eldest is a girl - Jackline Atieno. When the mother died the father remarried another wife with one child. This new wife of the father does not like Ezekiel and the sister, she is very harsh and cruel to them and sometimes they go without food when their father has gone to look for some casual work. Their average monthly income is only Kshs. 4000. Five people live in a rental two-rooms mud house.
