Description of the situation:
Cavin is the second born in the family of three children. He has brother Mitchel (2011) and sister Jenipher (2015).The father does fishing while the mother is a house wife. Apart from Cavin and the siblings, they also live/stays with one other child who comes from a poor family. Family has only around 2.600 KES/26 EUR per month. The income the father gets is meagre to feed and also pay school fees to the children and also to provide other basic needs in life to the family. The family lives in one room semi – permanent (iron sheet and timber) house, which is rented. They use firewood for cooking, kerosene lamp for lighting and they get water from the lake. Cavin is doing health wise and he likes playing football and swimming. Cavin will start attending the nursery school in our school Island of Hope Humanist School since January 2019. Boy needs support of 2.400 CZK/100 EUR per term.
