Description of the situation: Jeckonia was born in February of 2017 and is the youngest of four. His oldest sibling is Beverly (2009), Vincent (2014), and Harrison (2016). Their father is a mechanic, and their mother is a housewife. The family’s net monthly income is 5,500 KSH (55 EUR). They live in a mud house that has three rooms. For cooking they use firewood and charcoal and retrieve their water from the lake. For lighting they have solar power lighting and kerosene lamps. Jeckonia’s hobbies include playing football. He is currently sick and is in need of an operation to help him get better. Jeckonia also has the hopes of joining the Island of Hope’s playing group in the 2022 school year.
