Description of the situation:
Wilfred is from the family of four children. His sister Regina (ID 52873) and brother Eugine (ID 52874) are also in our database. Both the parents died leaving the children with their grandparents who are peasant farmers. Apart from Wilfred and the siblings, the grandparents also take care of other cousins, aunts and one very old lady who is sickling. They have only around 1,000 KSH/10 EUR per month. The family lives in a three room mud house which belongs to the family. They use firewood for cooking, electricity for lighting and they get water from the river. Wilfred likes football and athletics. In school he likes Kiswahili and mathematics. He would like to be a teacher after the end of his studies. He is healthy at the present. He joined the orphanage in our community center Island of Hope since January 2020, where he graduated from primary school and from 2024 he attends high school in this community center.
