Description of the situation: Christian lives with her mother, grandmother and brothers Steven (2010) and Kevin. His mother has small scale business and his father died. They have only around 2.000 KES/ 20 EUR per month. They live in a one room mud house that is rented. They use stove for cooking, paraffin lamp for lighting and they get water from the borehole. Christian has malaria which attacks him sometimes. Due to the little income, it is hard to meet all basic family needs and paying school fees for all kids is a really big problem. In the year 2023 the boy is attending 7th grade of primary school.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
