Description of the situation: Ephie was born in 2010 and she has got two older brothers Wagner and Reese. The school is 1 and a half km from their house. They stay in Kawangware with their parents in one roomed rental house. The small business of selling 2nd hand clothes is not doing well so the parents are finding it difficult to sustaine the family. The average family income is 8000 KES (approximately 71 EUR) per month. They live in semi-permanent house, use stove for cooking, electricity for lighting and water get from nearby borehole. Ephie is healthy girl. WiIll we find a new adopted parent who could help her to gain the right education? The adoption is 2400kc/100EUR per 1. term (7200 Kč/300EUR per yer). In 2024 she started 8th class of primary school.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
