Description of the situation: Samuel was born on 08/07/2008. The mother is single mother and take care of Samuel and his younger sister Ruth (ID 52421). They stay with Samuel's grandparents. The mother and the grandparents do farming and rely on rainfall which is not reliable. So mostly they rely on relief food from wellwishers. Family's average income is 3000 KES (approximately 27 EUR) per month. They stey in two-roomed mud house, use charecoal for cooking, kerosine lamp for lighting and water get from river. Samuel is healthy boy. The boy is expected to enter the first year of secondary school in 2024. This adoption costs 5600 CZK/220 EUR per school term.

The project of remote support „Adoptions of African children“ mediates an access to education for poor Kenyan children without pulling them out of their natural environment and community. This project has been running since 2002 and has helped more than 3500 children. School fees at primary school are CZK 7200 (€300) / year, and at secondary school, college and orphanage are CZK 16800 (€660). The payment can also be broken down into multiple instalments.
