Due to a wild storm striking Rusinga Island in the middle of March, lots of houses on Rusinga Island were damaged. Although the water flooded Island of Hope too, all our buildings fortunately survived.
In order to protect them from getting soaked and prevent further damage of the farm, another drainage channel will have to be made as soon as possible to drain water straight to the lake.
