Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa and its population exceeds one million inhabitants. The slum dwellings are mostly made of corrugated sheet metal or clay and sticks. The sheds are glued together with sewers full of rubbish running between them. Rubish also lie everywhere. The slum area is muddy.
